NANOMAT celebrates its latest General Assembly in an event organized by Blue Synergy in Madrid

Recently, the NANOMAT project celebrated its General Assembly Meeting, in an event organized and hosted by Blue Synergy in Madrid, Spain.

During the meeting, all partners gathered to present the progress, milestones and goals achieved, as well as to share knowledge and opinions about the work of the project. Blue Synergy was represented at the meeting by our Sustainability Engineer, Patricio Iván Cano Santana, and our General & Operations Director, German Cavero Lopez.

NANOMAT is a European project focused on developing a new concept of antenna to be used for aero-space engineering in such a way that the time needed to air landing could be reduced up to 5 minutes (reducing a huge amount of carbon dioxide released during this time). In addition, NANOMAT is aimed at using more circular and sustainable materials together with rethinking processes from a circular and sustainable point of view.

The NANOMAT consortium is composed by: Thales, Uppsala University, RF Microtech, Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), Institute of Electrical Engineering, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Imperial College London, Circuits Integrated, Institutul National De Cercetaredezvoltare Pentru Microtehnologie, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, NANOTEST, Technische Universität Chemnitz.
