Blue Synergy Participates in VALORISH General Assembly and Review Meeting in Trondheim
Blue Synergy SL was pleased to participate in the latest VALORISH Project General Assembly and Review Meeting, held in Trondheim, Norway. The in-person meeting brought together the VALORISH consortium to review project progress, exchange technical updates, and align on the next steps for advancing sustainable and circular solutions for the valorisation of fish processing side streams.
The meeting was hosted by SINTEF, one of the key partners in the VALORISH consortium. Blue Synergy would like to thank the SINTEF team for their warm welcome, excellent organisation, and for facilitating a productive environment for collaboration and discussion among project partners.
Representing Blue Synergy, Sustainability Engineer Patricio Ivan Cano Santana and Social Researcher & Communication Specialist Julio Morales Daza participated in the project activities. Their involvement reflects Blue Synergy’s ongoing contribution to the sustainability, social acceptance, stakeholder engagement and clustering dimensions of the VALORISH Project.
During the General Assembly, partners presented recent developments across the different work packages and discussed the technical progress achieved so far. The meeting also provided an important opportunity to coordinate upcoming activities, identify key priorities, and strengthen collaboration among consortium members as the project moves forward.
A central focus of the discussions was the advancement of innovative pathways for the sustainable and circular use of fish by-products. Through its activities, VALORISH aims to support the transformation of fish processing side streams into valuable bio-based products, contributing to a more resource-efficient and circular European bioeconomy.
The activities in Trondheim also included the VALORISH Review Meeting. Blue Synergy is grateful to Project Officer Stefania Rocca and external reviewer Joana Carvalho for their participation and for sharing constructive feedback and recommendations. Their insights will help support the continued development and implementation of the project in its next stages.
