Blue Synergy attended the General Assembly of the POWERSAT Project in Heraklion, Greece.
Recently, the POWERSAT consortium gathered in beautiful Heraklion, Greece, for a productive two-day General Assembly. The meeting was dedicated to in-depth discussions around the progress of the project’s tasks, with technical presentations advancing our understanding of key system challenges.
Our Sustainability Engineer, Sebastián Ospina Corral, brought fresh momentum to the project’s sustainability goals with his presentation on alternative materials, a critical step toward enhancing the project’s eco-design goals, which sparked conversations among the partners and allowed the setting of follow-up actions on the topic. The partners’ feedback collected from the next steps is going to be crucial to the project’s narrative and philosophy around sustainability.

Finally, Blue Synergy celebrates all project partners for their excellent work: Thales, University College Cork, National Institute for Research and Development in Microtechnologies – IMT Bucharest, Uppsala University, Università Politecnica delle Marche, Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) and FADO.io. Together, we’re shaping the future of sustainable space power systems.
Blue Synergy SL is proud to be a partner at the POWERSAT Project. We will bring more updates from the project after the next General Assembly in Gothenburg, Sweden, later this year.
