Blue Synergy attends the SECRETed Project’s 7th General Assembly in Seville, Spain

Full steam ahead! SECRETed Project H2020 just celebrated its 7th General Assembly, as it enters its last months before the end of the project. The meeting, which took place in the amazing city of Seville, Spain, was hosted by IDENER.AI, the project coordinator.

During the meeting, all partners had the opportunity to meet and discuss technical advances and issues, achievements and the overall progress of all work packages. Blue Synergy SL represented by our Sustainability Engineer, Sebastián Ospina Corral, and Social Researcher, Julio Morales Daza, presented the status of the sustainability assessments and the social awareness and acceptance tasks.

On the sustainability assessments side, we presented the results of scaling up the production process for rhamnolipids, moving from pilot-scale production at 150L to simulated results for 1-ton/batch and commercial-scale operations. The presentation also included an assessment of the process’s sustainability performance, covering environmental, economic, and social aspects.

On the social awareness and acceptance side, we presented the hosting of our second workshop; the creation of the first and second newsletters; the updating of the social awareness section in SECRETed’s website; the continuous posting of social awareness posts and news; the conduction of social awareness interviews; and the completion of a social acceptance survey.

Blue Synergy is a proud partner of the SECRETed Project.
